 Three years ago, 1000 activists surrounded the Head Quarters of Quinteson Medical Science, just after midnight the activists entered the building by force. In the chaos, Nyck and Rina was one of 600 children ran from Glastonbury Tower 2 and into the dark of the night. The city of Raven Heights is the center piece of the story, most events happen here. Located in a region called Shadow Walk, part of the Okanagan, in the province of British Columbia. The only highway connecting Raven Heights to the rest of the country is called "The Howl" -- named after howling winds, in winter the road is a frigid sheet of ice. Vehicles above 6000 kg is not allowed on the highway past the airport if the temperature is below 9 Celsius. The City of Raven Heights has six suburbs along with the Industrial sector and Downtown Core. So that brings us to the present day. And to the events that brought Nyck back to her home town.
